We are all creative souls.
It is our belief that practicing and expressing creativity makes us happier and healthier people.
We also realize that it may not be simple or easy for everyone, and that like most things, it can take some practice.
Studio Café aims to help cultivate and enable expressing creativity in everyone by making it easy to get started with traditional arts and crafts mediums.

Let us make you a coffee, while you make something the world has never seen.

Sci-fi Book Club (Moved to Library)
NOTE! - Sci-Fi Book Club has moved to the 2nd Tuesday of the Month at the Duluth Public Library. This month’s will be meeting from 6-8pm on Tuesday September 9th in the Gold Room.
This book club meets monthly to discuss compelling titles within this genre, which often contain very real, human stories. New members are always welcome.
This month's book is 'Every Heart a Doorway' by Seanan McGuire.
What happened to Alice when she returned from Wonderland? Dorothy after Oz? Did these children adjust to their lives, or did they find themselves at Miss West's School for Wayward Children? 'Every Heart a Doorway,' by Seanan McGuire answers these questions with Nancy and her fellow students after they come back from their own adventures.

Gallery Opening - Truth of me and you

Bring your typewriter and join us for clickity-clackety hangs, writing, relishing in the soundscape of an entire cafe filled with typewriters, and an open mic to share what you've cathartically clacked into existence.
Don't have a typewriter? Perfect! We'll have typewriters for you to play with and try out.
Interested in buying or selling a typewriter? This might be a good opportunity!
Have a typewriter that barely works, is limping along, or needs new ribbon? You might find someone that can help you!
September! Take part in our flash-fiction contest this month. The winner will recieve a vintage typewriter! We’ll have giveaways of other goodies every half hour. Just type your name and drop in the proverbial (possibly literal) hat for a good chance.

This social event is aimed toward polyamorous and queer individuals hoping to chat with other folks from the Twin Ports area. Discussion prompts and optional activities are provided.
The event is open to both those practicing polyamory and individuals interested in learning.
