Help us provide a new plant to previously unhoused families as they enter their new apartment. Adding a plant to a home environment emphasizes healing, growth, and resiliency- the core components we aspire to for the residents at the Steve O'Neil Apartments.

We are looking for 20 well-established, medium-sized plants from community members to liven up the living spaces for Steve O'Neil residents. Please provide nice pots for the plants, along with care instructions. Plants can be dropped off all day on Oct 9th at Studio Cafe (102 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802), or bring the donations during the plant swap.

The Plant Swap is open to all plant lovers from 4:00pm - 7:00pm, at Studio Cafe. Since plant people are getting together, let's swap plants and plant stories. All plants must be in some type of pot. SWAP ONLY. No selling.

CHUM would also welcome small furniture donations. If you have extra things that could be used as plant stands or holders, it would be appreciated!

Furniture can be dropped off at the CHUM main office during office hours (21 W 1st St). Ring the doorbell and tell them it's for the SONA (Steve O'Neil) plant drive.
